So what do you all think? Will this movie be “notorious” for substance or hype?
With a cast like Angela Bassett, (Voletta Wallace, Biggie’s Mom) Derek Luke (Puffy) and Anthony Mackie (Tupac) I would hope so. Hopefully it won’t be just a big music video – and it will really tap in on some substance. It will be interesting to see how they portray Pac with Diddy and Wallace being in on the production.
Perhaps a coming out party for Jamal Woolard (The Notorious B.I.G.)

First of all if Pufy is going to play POC we got a problem because he cant ack. I dont really know how this will turn out, but I dont think I would watch it.
Well just to clarify – Puf is not “playing” Pac – Anthony Mackie is (who is a very good actor) – i mean how they (Puffy and BIG’s mom who help produce) portray Pac’s image and level of imprtance in the film….

It ought to portend to a good movie if the script is good. And at the same time the actors themselves’ll have to be convincing in their roles. I know that Puff himself is an executive producer of the project. So I expect there to be a real hands on approach by him concerning much of the elements that went into defining what Biggie and his creativity was all about.
